Stellar Re – Romania acquires local broker

Stellar Re recently received the approval from the Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) on the acquisition of the local broker – ASISCO, a full-service property and casualty insurance broker established in 2008.

The strategy of the newly formed entity named Stellar Re Intermediaries will focus on tailoring fully reinsured solutions to local insurance companies reducing the burden of multiple intermediaries in the insurance-reinsurance process.

This eventually will be translated in more competitive solution addressed to the ultimate beneficiary – the CLIENT.
